The Beginning
Spotted by a Globetrotter.
Ben Tew began playing basketball at the age of 13 with a local club before being spotted by former NBA and Harlem Globetrotters player Shawn Jamison.
Following this, Ben moved to Stoke-on-Trent College to play under Coach Jamison. During his time there, he was honoured with the Student-Athlete of the Year award in 2019 and earned a full basketball scholarship to Midland College in Texas — becoming the first player from Nantwich to achieve this milestone.

Alongside his playing career, Ben founded Northwest Warriors Basketball Club in Nantwich, where he serves as both Head Coach and Club Director.
Through the club, he is committed to providing young players with opportunities to develop their skills while sharing the knowledge and experience he has gained throughout his basketball journey.
Passionate about inspiring the next generation, Ben strives to help young athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court.
